The "Grand Bison Fire and Ice Soiree"… Elopement Wedding Package (5 night package)

This package features an Outdoor Evening Ceremony available December though February and involves our Onsite Gazebo with Fire, Snow, Yard-long Sparklers, Lanterns and Candles, Bear and Bison custom Hot chocolate station, with your choices of liquor’s and toppings, including Baileys, Tia Maria, Kahlua and Irish whisky, homemade marshmallows, chocolate sprinkles, whipped cream. Who wants to try the flaming marshmallow dunked in Baileys?
Arrival Day:
- Normally Sunday through Friday check out (5 nights).
- 3-4 p.m. – Guaranteed early check into our best luxurious “Cabin like” Honeymoon King Deluxe room or our Travellers King Deluxe, (largest room, best for entertaining, very private patio). Go over the detailed breakdown schedule of your Wedding Day!

The Elopement Wedding Hidden Cost stuff
Now that you have picked your Elopement package, here are some things to think about.
But first, what is an elopement wedding? The wedding couple sneaking away alone? maybe a couple of friends, family? for the sake of clarifying, we suggest our elopement packages are designed for up to 10 people, plus the wedding couple, see packages for details.
- *Reservations made, Dinner at your cost
- ** Photography length of time, Our Photographers always arrive a few minutes early and take a couple of “last minutes getting ready shots” , the length of the photography package starts from the ceremony start time, eg; a 90 min package with a ceremony start of 2 p.m. would finish at 3.30 p.m. To help get the most of your photography time, we can make suggestions for locations that are close to the inn or, or the location of your offsite ceremony, to cut down on drive time.
- ** Photography additional time options, Our photography packages are designed to get some great pictures of the wedding couple, the more guests you have , the bigger the job gets, the more photo’s need to be taken, the longer it all takes to get the best shoot possible, here are some options to help with this;
- To avoid adding this stress, you can either
- You can sneak away after the ceremony to get your couples photos’ done
- You can stay at the ceremony location for all your photos’ and cut down on travel time cutting into your photo time.
- You can add time to your package, for additional time we suggest arranging during the planning stages so as to guarantee the photographer is available
- Cost is $595.00 per additional hour, when adding to your package, that already includes photography, or $175.00 per additional 15 minutes segment added, (adding an hour to a package that does not include photography, first hour starts at $795.00).
- ***Elopement ceremonies are designed for 10 people plus the wedding couple (Maximum),(Inn guests can attend free of charge, non inn guests, first 4 are free, over 4, $25.00 per person is added to the main bill, (public space use (inside and out) for elopement wedding packages is 90 minutes, (30 minutes prior and 60 minutes from the scheduled start of the ceremony).
- $500.00 weekend surcharge for packages on Friday and Saturday. ($250.00 per weekend day).
- A booking code for a 10% discount will be be generated for additional guest rooms of elopement packages that have booked a midweek package, (Sunday through Thursday nights).
- Summer season – Friday of the May long weekend to the Sunday of the Thanksgiving long weekend
- Winter season – Monday of the Thanksgiving long weekend until the Thursday before the May long weekend
- plus, taxes and levies of 5% Gst, 4% Atl, 3% Dmc and service gratuities of 10%.
- (Gst~ Good& Services tax, Atl~ Alberta Tourism Levi, Dmc~ Destination Marketing Contribution)
- Additional guest food and beverage additions, 8% gratuity will be added to the above, mentioned service gratuity
- Upgrades and changes are available, such as travel time for ceremony locations not within the town of Canmore, specific vendor requests, flower choices and upgrades.
- A 15% booking fee will apply to any additional services organized on your behalf. (The booking fee would not be applied to services included in your package).
- The service providers we use, have all done many weddings with us. We only work with the best local providers we can find based on availability and timings etc.
- If you have preference choices for service providers, we are happy for you to organize them directly yourself and we will either add or subtract the cost from your package price.
- We will work with you to plan the perfect wedding, your way, through our elopement package itineraries, which are color coded and easy to work with.
- We will also make suggestions as needed to help your package fit seamlessly with weather changes, other guests and or other events happening that day
