COVID-19 Update and Your Booking with Us
Due to current travel uncertainty, which we will continue to monitor closely and keep all our guests up to date as things change.
The regular travellers requirements for staying in hotel rooms have not been to much of a hardship, masks are required in all public spaces. Hot tub is restricted to one cohort at a time, once in the hot tub area, masks can be removed.
For group events, the requirements are, always changing, we are in constant contact with each groups organizer as things change, you should contact your group organizer for detail on how this may affect your stay with us! As things are always changing we are only sending updates out to groups in the coming 6-8 weeks, just to avoid overloading with unnecessary emails, given the constant changes , clarifications and updates.
We wanted to keep the conversation open and as up to date as possible.
Please read below how we are responding to the COVID-19 Crisis and what this means to you and your stays with us.

Discontinued Services
We are following recommendations from Health Canada, and the Canadian Government. At this time, we have discontinued a few services:
- Dining room service is discontinued. Our room service breakfasts will be served to your private room or left outside of your room for you to grab yourself to limit contact, if you prefer. Empty room service trays may be left outside of your room or left inside and will be picked up during housekeeping.
Maintaining hope and bad jokes
We understand this situation is serious, and we understand the importance of “flattening the curve” by following governments recommendations. Additionally, staying positive, happy and busy is how we are getting by in these strange times.
Our incredible employees have been resilient and flexible. As bookings are down, ordinary hours have shifted. We have been filling up time with renovations, deep cleaning, garden beautification, and for the first time in 20 years, Lonny is trying to learn some new jokes!
Some of our employees are also helping our local community at Save On Foods.
Isolation for two
On April 13th, 2020 Lisa and Christopher got married at A Bear and Bison Inn, socially distanced from everyone except each other. Even Cheryl the marriage commissioner stayed two metres back. Read more about this act of love on our Facebook or Instagram.
