Canmore cozySo if your grandma lived in Canmore and was a gourmet cook this might be her place. Warm, welcoming, super clean and cozy. It’s not modern ‘boutique chic’ and not soulless like all the apartment condos in this town. Yes, the decor is a little dated, but if you like warmth, character and hospitality you’ll love its wrinkles just like you love your nanna.
Wonderful B&BOur 3 night stay at this B&B was the perfect start to our Vacation. We were fortunate to get the Honeymoon Suite that had an enclosed shower, balcony and great view. We even learned how to use a coffee press.
Breakfasts were wonderful. The owner, Lonny, makes this B&B special and so does his staff. They go out their way to make sure your needs are met.
A lifelong resident, the owner knows where to go and what to see. He willingly helps you plan your day based on your interests and any limitations you have. He was invaluable in this regard. We’ve recommended this B&B to our friends coming here next year.
The Best of the Best!Wow! A Great Find!
The Bear & Bison exceeded all our expectations! Excellent Staff, service, charm, good value and an overall wonderful experience. Great location within walking distance to town and hiking. We stayed for 3 nights in early September and were lucky enough to stay one more night before returning to Calgary!
Both rooms we stayed in were spacious, had fireplaces, hot tubs, balconies and were well appointed. Lonnie, the owner served up 3 course gourmet breakfasts each morning.
The inn is charming with antiques and lots of room to lounge. The grounds are beautiful too with sitting areas to eat or just relax.
Wedding wonderland!This place is amazing! My daughter had her wedding here this past weekend and it was beautiful. The inn itself is fantastic. They have the most accommodating and friendly staff and the food was to die for! They definitely knocked it out of the park!! I highly recommend this place for a wedding or just a wonderful get away!
Perfection in every way!Lonny the host is knowledgeable, helpful, funny and goes the extra mile to ensure your stay is awesome! He really knows the area and what there is to offer, not to mention this is the only hotel/inn in the Canmore area which offers up a delicious & nutritious breakfast in the price of accommodations! The spa in the bedroom is an added bonus and the handmade natural bath products are to die for! The inn is also nestled into the mountains in a wonderful quiet part of town away from the railroad. I cannot recommend this country inn enough!
